The wedding ceremony will be held at Children's Chapel at Children’s Harbor, Lake Martin (434 Children’s Harbor Drive, Eclectic, Alabama). The reception will immediately follow the ceremony with a social hour, dinner, and dancing at Overlook Farms (245 Squaw Lane, Dadeville, Alabama), which is about a 20-minute drive from the chapel.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Black tie optional: Formal attire is welcome, with black tie being encouraged but not required. A suit and tie for men and long dresses or dressy evening separates for women are acceptable. We also request that guests avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride.
HOW DO I RSVP AND WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?
Please respond to the ceremony and seated dinner reception by May 17th. Complete all the information and return the RSVP card included with your invitation by mail.
CAN I BRING A GUEST?
Due to limited capacity at both venues we request that only formally invited guest attend. We greatly appreciate your understanding.
WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The wedding ceremony will be held indoors at Children’s Chapel. The reception will offer indoor and outdoor options for dinner & dancing. There is also a rain plan in place for any of the outdoor activities.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony to ensure you are seated prior to the bride’s entrance at 5:00 PM.
DO YOU HAVE HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS?
Summer is a beautiful and busy time at Lake Martin, so we encourage guests planning to stay overnight to make reservations as soon as possible. A list of nearby hotels can be found on the TRAVEL tab of our website.
